Increased Armor is one of several abilities found in Maximo: Ghosts to Glory and added into the player's inventory, being lost upon the player's death unless moved into a permanent lockspot.
Maximo's Armor levels increase from 3 to 4. If Increased Armor is equipped, maximum armor requirement to activate Mask of Sorrow ability is raised to 5.
